  • Nov. 2: Full Moon, Nov. 16: New Moon
  • Nov. 7: Project Feeder Watch starts and extends until April.
  • Nov. 17-18: Leonid Meteor showers.
  • Gather Puffballs (edible mushrooms) grow this time of year.
  • River otters are returning to their native range.
  • Leaves have fallen. Be sure to look for Hornet nests (safe after the first hard freeze). Nests are not re-used.
